Cookie & Storage Technologies Notice

Cookies are one type of technology that can store or access information on a device. Similar rules may apply to local storage, session storage, pixels, scripts, tags, link decoration, device identifiers and comparable browser or app technologies.

This notice describes the technologies deliberately used by the public website. Technical connection and security logs processed by the hosting provider are addressed in the Privacy Notice and are not necessarily stored on your device.

The website sets nr_cookie_preferences after you choose “Accept all”, “Reject optional” or save a customised preference.

The cookie records only the preference version, confirmation that necessary storage is active, the analytics and marketing category choices and the time the choice was saved. It does not contain your name, enquiry message or account information.

The cookie uses a site-wide path and SameSite=Lax protection. It is marked Secure when the website is accessed over HTTPS.

Necessary storage is used to remember the privacy choice you have already made. Without it, the website would have to ask again on each visit.

This preference storage remains active whether optional technologies are accepted or rejected. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent the website from recording that rejection.

The analytics category is optional and off by default.

The current public website does not load a third-party analytics cookie. If an analytics service is introduced, it must be assessed, documented and prevented from loading until the required permission has been obtained, unless a specific legal exception genuinely applies.

The marketing category is optional and off by default.

The current public website does not load an advertising pixel or marketing-measurement cookie. If that changes, this notice and the consent configuration must be updated before the technology is enabled for visitors who have not allowed it.

Select Your privacy choices in the website footer at any time to review or change the optional categories.

Saving a new preference replaces the previous cookie for that browser. Clearing website cookies removes the saved preference and the website may ask again on a later visit.

Most browsers allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies and other site data. Blocking all storage may affect preference management and some website functions.

Browser controls operate separately from the North Route Systems preference panel. Settings may need to be changed on each browser or device you use.

Information entered into a contact form is not stored inside the preference cookie. It is transmitted only when you choose to submit the form.

We may update this notice if the website begins using a new cookie, script, pixel, browser-storage method or similar technology. The version and effective date identify the current notice.
